Born a girl named Jeannie, husband/Dom Jack changed my name to Vanessa when we married. After his death I found no man could replace him, and at the same time my attraction to women became stronger. Now I am married to my lovely wife Dana.

I'm a petite 58-year-old southern girl (GRITS for those who know). Something about my appearance: Short blonde/gray hair, blue eyes, 34B, 24 waist, 36 hips 5'4” 125 lbs. I had a successful career as a senior editor in a small publishing house, but now work part-time. 

After entering the D/s lifestyle with Jack, I soon realized there were other people living “outside the mainstream” of American sexual mores. Often they had to hide their true natures to survive and thrive. We had to hide also; but it was easier for us as white college students and later, professionals, who were (mostly) heterosexual and (mostly) monogamous. We developed a small group of friends who understood and accepted us, some in the D/s lifestyle and some not; and we, in turn, began to welcome, support, and even mentor others. We came to realize that we too were members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as its allies.
