This morning I removed from my list all those users who still display silhouettes.

This is almost entirely for aesthetic reasons.

I am not insisting that anyone compromise their privacy.

I'm happy to accept a picture of your cat, or any cat.

I love Kitty. ❤

Yes having a picture of yourself is important in a profile.

Not a bad idea Jayne to be honest! If one joins a site like this and hopes to meet other people of similar tastes etc then just a silhouette of 'private' collections of pictures surely does not help one's cause. If people want to stay discrete that is obviously fine but hiding your assets from all to see appears to me to be a little pointless.

You have a point of course, but my intent was just to let a dozen people know why I deleted them.
